Consumers were advised yesterday to discard all toothpaste made in China after federal health officials said they found Chinese-made toothpaste containing a poison used in some antifreeze in three locations: Miami, the Port of Los Angeles and Puerto Rico.

I have to wonder how many people are going to be injured or die before the world cracks down on china. It is clear that they have inadequate concerns about the safety of their products. Every day it is a new recall. I fear that the next time it will be thousands of people dieing not just cats and dogs. Everyone needs to write their congressman and encourage the government to ban all incoming products from china until we can all be sure that the food we eat, the toothpaste we brush our teeth with, the tires we drive on, the toys our children play with or the medicine we take is not going to kill us. I am sure the products we know about are just the tip of the iceberg.
